Script Summary: A modification of chef_boyardee's MySpace Rich Edit script. Menu gives you italic, bold, strikeout, underline, [quote], blockquote, center, URL, and embedded image HTML shortcuts with a click. Works on MySpace, Slashdot, and Typepad. A big thanks to chef_boyardee for getting this started; otherwise I'd have had nothing to tweak.
The script works very much like the HTML or BBCode insertion menus on popular forums; just click for the HTML to be inserted. (I also included the BBCode "[quote]" code, because for some reason, MySpace forums use that.) The code works on MySpace's forums, comment boxes, and blogs (though MySpace currently disables strikeout, blockquote, and center on its forums.) I also enabled it for Slashdot and Typepad sites, for handy HTML insertion in comments sections at those sites.
