RS is now disabling files from being downloaded because they are suspected of being copyrighted.... and yet we still see those links as live. Bloody RS... do you think you could introduce a fix for this issue?

and i tested both 300 link and 900 link sites, at 300 links page is all showing correctly, but on the 900 links page, 3 links are showing wrong, see the pic - http://culino.kexik.net/files/script/900.png, thanks

hi, i found a link to this amazing script somewhere on the net and i wanna ask if you can add/change something :)

1, if i have highlighted text, it won't convert it to a link (see this pic - http://culino.kexik.net/files/script/hl.png)

2, i wonder if you will add some option to have alink, vlink function (for example i could see if i was on that link before, or if i am clicking on it atm)

3, i tested a page you posted, but seems to not transform all links to that format (see this pic - http://culino.kexik.net/files/script/site.png)

i saw a universal link checker now, but it hasn't support RS.com so i am using this from you one instead.

This is a fantastic tool mate. It is my job as a moderator to continually check links and your script is making things a million times easier.

A couple other filehosts I would really like to see checked are Megashares and MediaFire.

Thanks Garthex :) If I remember correct RS.de used to have a link checker @ http://rapidshare.de/en/checkfiles.html. But since it died and everything has moved to RS.com people don't use it.

Anyhow thanks again for the help. It works just how I wanted it to now! I also pulled out that anonym.to since I'm sure it only slows the script down :)

You are right, the script finds all rapidshare links (both .com and .de) but only checks the availability of rapidshare.com links. I'm not sure the reason for this, but to keep it from checking .de links:

Change the part of line 83 (version 2.0) that starts with const urlRegex = from rapidshare\.(?:com|de)\/files to rapidshare\.com\/files

Apon closer inspection Garthex it appears to be just its just the http://rapidshare.de mirrors that also get .html.

Not sure if this can be fixed by us or if its hosts script that processes both domains in the background but only checks RS.com so when we tell it to add .html to all the RS links it finds, it includes the RS.de.

If it is the script then i'm sure it will speed processing up even more by removing RS.de since I don't use it at all :) Just an idea...

Oh sweet its works half and half :) Progress indeed! Unfortunately it adds the .html to the links that aren't rapidshare.com and somepages there are so many mirrors it locks up the browser for a while while it processes...

Maybe:
If first 21 chars = "http://rapidshare.com" then add .html

Slight mistake. Line 3 for removing .html should read match[0] not source

In that case, adding .html is relatively simple. Insert two lines between 107 and 108 (on version 2.0) to read the following:

var a = document.createElement("a");
if (match[0].substring(match[0].length - 5, match[0].length) != ".html")
match[0] += ".html";
a.setAttribute("href", match[0]);

Similarly, if you want to remove .html if it exists, change the same lines to read:

var a = document.createElement("a");
if (match[0].substring(match[0].length - 5, match[0].length) == ".html")
match[0] = source.substring(0, match[0].length - 5);
a.setAttribute("href", match[0]);

I was thinking more along the lines of me editing the script myself Garthex, because i'm sure not many people would find that feature useful as I would.

But I'm sure hosts will say its possible by slapping a + '.html' in the code somewhere. Not sure where though.

Maybe you can do the opposite on your side Garthex? Search and remove all .html ;)

If you add .html, make it an option. Also maybe add an option to remove them too, because I have to remove it manually by hand if the links have it.

Just wondering if its possible to add .html onto the end of the RS.com links. It sounds pointless but I need it to work with my homemade download manager and its becoming a mission to continuously add .html to the end of all my RS.com links.

Is it possible to tag .html to the end of the links when it adds the dead or alive image? Could point me in the right direction please :D

Hi hosts, regarding to the site I mentionned, I only get this : Links are cut off halfway through, and your script flags them as not-existent, but they're there !
