FBookFriendMenu
Creates a drop-down menu for common tasks on Facebook
This script is the successor of FBookInfoBox.
I decided I didn't like the InfoBox design anymore, but I did like the new navigation bar at the top of Facebook. So I decided to put all the tasks that were in my Infobox into a drop-down menu. This works the same as FBookInfoBox. You hold down Alt and hover over a profile link, or a profile picture, and the menu appears in the upper-right corner of the currently visible portion of the page. The menu appears closed, so you have to click the button next to the person's name to open the menu. If you hold down Shift as well, the large profile pic will also pop up on the opposite side of the page, and the menu will start open. You can also open the large image by clicking on the small, square image in the menu.
Unlike the InfoBox, the menu doesn't follow the page when you scroll. The reason for this is that sometimes the menu is too large to fit on the screen, so you need to be able to scroll. However, if you open the large picture, it will scroll with the page.
If you already have FBookInfoBox installed, disable it, or uninstall it before installing the script. They won't disrupt each other, it's just superfluous. You'll end up getting both the InfoBox and the menu.
Any suggestions for improvement, please comment here.

Update (27 Aug 2007). I added Free Gifts to the menu.

i really really want this, but this doesn't work at all. no menu appears when hovering with the mouse over links holding alt-key. neither this works nor fbookinfobox. i also tried to put it above all my other greasemonkey script - nothing, also disabled every other script except this one... but still nothing. i really want this one  |

It was part of my original design to have it at the top of the current visible part of the page, and have it scroll with the page. That's very possible, and not even difficult. However, I found that on computers with smaller monitors, the list is sometimes too long for one screen, and so that made it impossible to see the whole menu.

I love this script, and i agree with xanderificus
I see another script, calculated their age and zodiac under the birthday in their profile (if they summited).

It's nice but one thing I'd like: When I "alt-hover" over a link/pic, it creates its little bar at the top-right of the screen. That's great when I'm already near the top, but if I'm trying to get info on something farther down a long page... I have to scroll back up to see it.
