There are a few features in the works that will be pushed to all AutoSmile users when they are available (A link will appear that says "Update Available").

There will be a considerable amount of UI-driven customization to the functionality of the script. A user will be able to choose which emoticons are active, enable/disable AutoSmile, and change the default state of the Live Preview. This should be ready relatively soon.

In upcoming versions, the script will also support custom smileys (drawn using a simple web-based utility). The interface for this might take a while.
