The DiggTaggr user script is a peripheral of a web application developed by Brian Shaler. DiggTaggr sends the web app the ID number associated to the currently viewed Digg story. The web app compares key words from that story to the keywords of all the Digg stories submitted in the last few weeks. The stories deemed the most relevant are returned to DiggTaggr, where they are displayed under the main story description. The script then contacts Digg's API to retrieve the current number of Diggs, the summaries, and submission information for the recommended stories.
