Uses Coral Content Distribution Network (www.coralcdn.org) to accelerate video performance on YouTube

This user script uses Coral Content Distribution Network to accelerate video performance on YouTube. That means video you are watching is cached on Coral Cache servers so it loads a lot faster, especially useful for popular videos.

Coral is a free peer-to-peer content distribution network, comprised of a world-wide network of web proxies and nameservers.

is it just me, or has youtube broken this script?

Videos simply don't load/appear in their spot with this script enabled....

I don't know if it's because some videos are using

*.cache.googlevideo.com now?

And sometimes *.ytimg.com

I was watching the status bar as one page was loading, and even say "Loading youtube.com.nyud.nethttp..."

Seems like a typo, perhaps caused by the script? hehe.

ahoier: Thanks for your suggestion. I would like currently to finish support for YouTube. Other video services are worth considering, but IMO better if it was another script.

Would it be possible to make it more "general" to work on more streaming video sites? :)

http://www.break.com/* for example, which serves their videos off video.break.com I think.

LIFE SAVING! I went from waiting 10-minutes for a 3 minute video to load, to a 30 second load for the same video! Amazing! I thank you over and over again for this.

HatastiX: No user script changes page source, but they do change DOM tree of rendered page.

No, it's not redirecting the page itself, it just kills and then recreates player box to use caching. You can see it working by looking at status bar saying "youtube.com.nyud.net".

This doesn't seem to work for me, is it supposed to change the url? Because all of the URLs are still the same on my firefox.
