LiveJournal Filter
Filters out LiveJournal user entries based of tags present or absent.
This script allows to filter out LiveJournal Friends Page entries depending on tags present or absent. Install it in usual way, open your Friends Page in Firefox, than go to menu entry Tools → Greasemonkey → User Script Commands → Edit LiveJournal Filter Rules. Small window will open containing text area with examples of filtering rules and comments. Put your black and white lists there, and don't even see boring entries any more.
Current version works with S2 styles Punquin Elegant, A Sturdy Gesture and Refried Paper only. It can be adopted to other S2 styles, but this must be done for each single style manually (perhaps thirty to forty lines of code for each). Just say me which style you are using and I will be happy to add it's support for you.
While I was hacking the version 1.6 (current) from the version 1.5 (initial), the namespace of the script was changed. Therefore you cannot just upgrade from previous version, you must uninstall it and install new from scratch. Sorry for inconvenience.
If you have installed version 1.5+6 of this script (was here for a while), don't bother to upgrade to 1.6, changes are purely cosmetic. Or upgrade if you don't like "beta" feeling, changes are purely cosmetic indeed.
Update: Dmitry Rubinstein has elaborated this script, adding more styles and keyword-based filtering in addition to tag-based. We both hope that two branches will merge in the future, before that you can evaluate both of them and choose which suits better you needs. Dmitry's script is number 18855 at this site.
