Add a "send a message to this user" link near every user name.
HospitalityClub.org is a great site (people offering hospitality in their house all over the world, a grass-root bottom-up decentralized approach to world peace and mutual understanding).
But the interface is orrible and highly unusable. So this little script hopefully is helping you a bit.
