The social web has its ups and downs. And the biggest down has to be the comment threads on popular websites. There is nothing quite as stupid as the comments on Youtube, while BBC "Have Your Say" has become a wasteland of small-minded bigotry and hatred.
We can't stop idiots writing comments. But we can tastefully hide them away, leaving you to focus on the content you wanted.
