This script allows you to customize the settings of the (northern Illinois) Regional Transportation Authority's online Trip Planner to match your own preferences as to walking, type of trip, and your preference of vehicles.
Alter the value of the first line to 0, 1, 2, or 3 if you are willing to walk 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, or 1 mile, respectively. Default value within the script is 0.50 miles.
Alter the value of the second line to 0, 1, or 2 if you wish to have a trip that's the quickest, has fewest transfers, or has the least amount of walking, respectively. Default value within the script is fewest transfers (as that is often truly the quickest).
Alter the value of the third line to 0, 1, or 2 if you would like trains and buses, just buses, or just trains, respectively. Default value within the script is trains and buses.
