Lou: Great, I've been wanting to make it more general. I've applied your patch locally – will play with it a bit. I do prefer to have the entire header linked, though, because it makes a better target. Perhaps if you get '#' links only when the header contains a link?

Hi, Henrik
I modifed the script so that it will work on other WikiMedia wikis, Mozilla Wiki, MDC, MZKB, and, guess what, GreaseSpot Wiki.
Because user sometimes put a link to other article in the section header (example), I made the anchor link only appear if you hover your mouse to the section header, like in TracWiki (example)

Neat. Mandatory reference to a page it improves, for insta-joy trying it out, post-install: Badger. Perhaps we should add a field to every script for a suggested try-it-out-yourself url, for scripts where one would be appropriate (90% of the crop, or so).
