Chicago Public Library - LibraryLookup
If you are on Amazon or Google Books, this script will check if the book currently on the screen is in the Chicago Public Library catalog. (Search is not ISBN-specific.)
This script was rebuilt using this userscript as a template, and thus, I do not claim authorship; it's merely a splice-and-hack job. Nick Baker deserves 99.99% of the credit.
If you had the previous version installed, this script is fairly comparable.
As with its prior iteration, this script will check from the page you're currently on to see if the book is part of the Chicago Public Library catalog.
As with its prior iteration, this script uses the xISBN web service so that your search is not ISBN-specific, and you can thus see whether the library owns any version of the book you are looking at, not just that specific version.
This script uses the new URLs that match the Chicago Public Library website's design reboot in March 2008.
Updated in May 2008 to accommodate new Amazon page design.

Sorry for not responding until two months later, Randhir. Not sure what to tell you, but it still works fine for me. |

I am not seeing any change in the amazon.com page after I install this script and restart. Has Amazon changed something that breaks this script? |
