YouTubr
Toggle between a flickr photo and its related YouTube video without leaving the flickr photo page.
YouTubr is a Greasemonkey script that adds a
button beneath a flickr photo whenever the photo's description contains a (clickable) link to a YouTube video (see an example).
Then by clicking on
, the photo is swapped with the video, so that the video may be viewed inside the flickr photo page.
You are encouraged to add any flickr photo with a YouTube link in the description to the YouTubr group pool so that
- anyone may view the entire pool using YouTubr
- I may use it as a test collection to test and improve YouTubr
- the size of the pool may serve as an indication of YouTubr's popularity
- the membership of your photo in the pool visible on your photo's page may lead to other users discovering YouTubr (and consequently watching that same video without leaving that photo's page!)

I'll have a look at whether the relation between these sites' embedding code and their video link is as straightforward as is YouTube's.

Neat script--any chance of a similar script for Blip.tv or Google Video? |
