Ad Slicer for MySpace 2
Removes all MySpace ads, and the space they leave behind.
Removes even Powered by Google images. Works only on profile pages, not on other MySpace pages.

Nevermind, I see the redirecting link, but that hardly counts as a trojan. It IS pretty stupid to put on there, though. |

Adrian is right about this...if you saw fit to add a correction, you should have sent him an email or left a comment, and I'm sure he would have done it himself. And just taking off the Powered By Google does not count as version 2. I don't see any "trojan" in his code, though. |

I'm not going to argue with you here, because I am right. The original version you posted here prior to Feb 15th did not have the proper copyright info. The features you added that follow the description you gave totaled to 2 lines, yet you insist that is is worthy of calling it version 2. Then, you decide to change text on all myspace pages directing users to your personal website. But worst of all, you neglected to inform the original author about it. I appreciate you adding the copyright info, but you are still a filthy leech trying to profit off of other people's hard work without even putting in the slightest effort on your part. The open source community would have no respect for you, nor do I. |

Script says "Based on script by Adrian", and there is your myspace link.

It's a real bad thing when you steal someone else's code, change the copyright info, and direct the end user to your own personal website via a "trojan" link... And then not even inform the original author. tsk tsk, shame on you! |

The malicious code I'm talking about is right at the very top of the script (a link to the creator's website). AND the writer of this script merely copied my version and changed the data, attempting to claim it as their own. Here is the original version (that removes the Google images, I might add): http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/3890 |
What malicious code are you talking about...it works perfectly fine... i read it multiple times and it looks good to me.. |
Bullshit. There is no malicious code. If you think that there is malicious code then copy that piece of code and place it here. This version strips all ads from MySpace profiles. Even "Powered by Google" images and everything. note: This works only on profiles, not on whole MySpace. |
DO NOT DOWNLOAD. This is a hacked version of the original and contains malicious code! No few "features" have been added in this version. |
