Rllmuk Topic Ignore List

Implements a topic ignore list, sending selected topics to an unobtrusive Ignored Topics section at the foot of topic listing pages. Topics may also be ignored on search result pages based on the folder they belong to.

Implements a topic ignore list, with the option to either send ignored topics to an unobtrusive "Ignored Topics" section at the foot of the topic listing or remove them completely.
Clicking on the "X" icon added to each topic in the search results pages and forum listings will add the selected topic to your ignore list and cause it to be ignored on every topic listing page.
Topics can be unignored by clicking their "+" icons in the "Ignored Topics" section.
You can also choose to ignore all topics from certain folders when viewing search pages, which makes using View New Posts as your primary means of browsing the forum a much nicer prospect.

Wow, this is very nice. If only this was available for -every- forum -everywhere-, I'd be happy :) Personally, I think the forum software should have this built in.

It might not work on other IPB forums because it was written for and is maintained specifically for rllmuk - any differences in the page structure of the topic listing pages from what is on rllmuk could cause it to break quite easily.

Specifically, the XPATH used to find topic and folder links, and the DOM navigation used to find the appropriate cell to place the "X" icons into would need to be tweaked for other forums.

I did get this to work on rllmuk. Any reason why it might not work on other IPB forums, even after adding them into the list of sites? I get the dialog box, but the 'x' to ignore the topic doesn't show.

I can't get this to work. Instead of ignored folders (which are really forums, correct?), could the dialog list topics to select?
