Hey, thanks to your script I can use YouTube without having Flash installed. I'm using a 64Bit ArchLinux.
I was wondering if there's a way this would work with all FLV files, or maybe at leasts with Google's Videos.
Thanks!

Totem uses the xine engine, which, last I checked, couldn't play FLV videos. Sorry.
Hi, I have totem-mozilla installed and it's using that; I guess it would in fact conjure up any appropriate plug-in (the source confirms that).
However, totem-mozilla doesn't seem to be able to stream these (amd64 machine); so I guess I'll try using mozilla-mplayer instead.
Hi Tony, How would you adapt your script to use totem-mozilla plugin instead of mozilla-mplayer? Thanks.
