Does just what it says it does!
And, because it does what it does *when* it does, it prevents Firefox from recognizing login forms and populating them with your saved username and password.
If you don't use Firefox to save your login information, this will be handy to catch password typos (and show your passwords to anyone who looks over your shoulder).
