Custom Google Logo
Replaces the Google logo with your own custom logo - NOTE: manual configuration required
Hi, I updated a script by Nathan Malkin that allows you to replace the Google logo with a custom one. I just changed the line saying what image on the homepage to replace, as apparently Google switched their logo's URL. I do not claim any credit, all should go to Nathan Malkin. Thought I should share the fix.
By default, the script will display the regular Google logo. To customize the logo, edit the script (Manage User Scripts > Edit) and change the first line after the comments (newLogoURL) with the URL of the logo you want. Then change the line after that (newSearchURL) to the URL of the searchpage image you want.
The script currently affects only the homepage.

Google changed their search URL back to what it was before (/images/nav_logo.png). No idea how exactly to get it to work. If you notice, only the top part of the image is parsed in the searchpage logo, so there's something more going on where simply replacing the image doesn't work.

Ok, made it so the Main and Search logo are different images. You'll need two custom images at different resolutions, but you won't get ugly resize.

Ok, Google changed things again since the holiday doodle. The custom logo on the searchpage can be used by replacing "/images/logo_sm.gif" with "/logos/holiday06_5res.gif". If you notice the word holiday in there, you would probably be right in assuming they are changing again and this is an interim URL until their New Year's logo.
