  • A rudimentary Security Advisor is available to determine if there is potential risk involved with installing a script.

When using Firefox 5.x+ the grey advisory throbs to indicate that information is being retrieved from USO. Usually if this advisory stays solid grey on the Install button that means something unexpected has happened and wrapping of the top-level script will not occur and no updater will be attached. The same is true for the black advisory but is expected. If the words Install with are present on the grey button that usually means that there might be an embedded updater already in the script. Please check the tool tip and source code to be sure. If the border color on Install or Install with changes to an advisory color that usually means there is already a known updater in addition to the possible embedded.
