Script Summary: Inserts a bogus "Private Message" on your victim's Facebook homepage to taunt them forever! Personalise with various settings.

Default settings

var name = 'John Smith'

Instructions

  1. Install my Annoying Facebook Message User Script.

If you want to deviate from the default settings, follow these next four steps:

  1. Assuming you are using Firefox, open up the Greasemonkey User Scripts Manager by selecting; Tools > Greasemonkey > Manage User Scripts...
  2. Click the edit button in the bottom left-hand corner of the window. If not done automatically, choose your favourite text editor (such as Notepad) to open up the User Script for editing.
  3. Edit the variables in the EDIT BELOW section of the script:
    1. Set the name variable to the name you you would like to be displayed.
    2. Set the profile variable to the Facebook profile web address you would like to be linked to.
    3. Set the message variable to the message you would like to be displayed.
    4. Set the image variable to the Facebook profile picture thumbnail you would like to be displayed.
  4. Save the document reload the Facebook homepage to view your changes.
