My Life Is Not An Annoying Cliché

Script Summary: This script attempts the Sisyphean task of ridding MLIA posts from tired clichés and similarly annoying stuff.

Version: 16.02.10

The script divides clichés into two categories: Story clichés and writing clichés.

Story clichés are topics which had stories submitted about them a thousand times over, like Twilight, high fives, light sabers, etc. Story clichés are determined through a blacklist, and such posts are turned invisible. They can be turned visible by clicking on them, but they will not have been fixed for writing clichés.
Writing clichés are repetitive constructs occurring in all kinds of posts, regardless of the topic, e.g. "Best. [Something]. Ever." or "Made my day." or "We have a date tomorrow.". The script will attempt to recognize writing clichés and remove those bits from posts.
The almost automatic "MLIA" at the end of posts will also be filtered. It serves no purpose anyway, and is often-times a rather ridiculous claim.

Please keep in mind that writing clichés can take a large number of different forms, and no recognition pattern is flawless. If you find a writing cliché that slipped through, please post it in the discussion section. Thank you.

In all cases, the single story/comments page will not be reworked, to give the user the chance to read the story in full, on the off chance that something got filtered erroneously, and to allow him/her to comment on the story in its actual form, not in the de-annoyed form.

(Since this list is ever-growing, it is now auto-generated.)

Again, if a variation of that phrase isn't caught, feel free to post it in the discussion section, I'll look into it. Same goes for suggestions for new topics on blacklist, or any other kind of bug in the script. I can't fix what I don't know is there.

Installing & Using

While Greasemonkey is a Firefox extension, I am actively trying to keep MLINAAC usable in other browsers supporting user scripting. Below are installation guides for supported browsers:
Internet Explorer, as usual, fails. You should use something safer anyway.

The script itself can be gotten at the top of the page, through the large, green "Install" button.
