Update: Do not download this script. YouTube changed something and now it doesn't work anymore. I'd fix it, but I have important HSC work to do and I need to completely rethink how to get it working properly.

How to use

To use this script, get the YouTube URL of the video you want to watch (to get the URL in Firefox, right click on a YouTube link, choose "Copy Link Location" and paste it into the location bar). Change the word "watch" to "watch_unblocked". The URL should now look like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch_unblocked?v=9KvGzN...

When the URL is loaded (this might take some time) you will be able to watch the video, even if it is blocked in your country. This script should also work for videos which have been flagged as "racy" (18+ only) when you don't have a YouTube account.

Warning: This is a beta quality script which hasn't been through much testing at time of writing. It may not work for all videos, it doesn't support many YouTube features (comments, related videos etc.) and I may not have described its use very well. These issues will be fixed in a later version. Until then, enjoy (and please don't write too many bad reviews :)

This script was made possible by the use of the proxy service, "Crack Proxy" <http://crackproxy.com/> and it's sponsors. (However it's not like there isn't 100s of other free, US based, proxy services on the internet I could have used instead...) For those users worried about speed, the proxy is only used to get the video info, not the video itself.
