Script Summary: Blocks the ad elements in new (experimental) Google search results pages
As described by Gizmodo, and as discussed on reddit, Google has quietly enabled a new style for the Google.com home page and related search results. Unfortunately, the changes made by Google embed the ad links directly into the page source, making Adblock Plus less suited to the task of removing the ad, since blocking the ad elements leaves whitespace where the ad should have appeared.
This script blocks the ad elements by disabling them via stylesheet rules, and resizes any elements to recover the ad space. As Google may change the element IDs, names, etc., this script is provided without warranty, and also, may be updated at any time to reflect changes made by Google.
