Script Summary:
Adds a checkbox on the search bar for preventing auto-redirection to the first match (if it's enabled). |
This script has no discussions. |
This script has no reviews. |
This is needed if "Redirect Behavior" in your Search Preferences is set to "Always redirect to the first match" (equivalent to Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky" function) because in some cases it doesn't redirect to the needed page.

17 November 2009- Added checkbox on-click behaviour. If you've already entered the search query, clicking the checkbox will also automatically click the "Go" button. If the search field is empty, clicking the checkbox will set focus to it. In either case you make 1 mouse-click instead of 2.
- After doing an "unlucky search" the checkbox will remain checked on the search results page.
