Delicious.com - Bundle On Post

By S Waters Last update Aug 17, 2010 — Installed 371 times.

Script Summary: When you make a new post and use tags that are not in any bundle, this script provides a bundling interface within the posting page so you can bundle them while saving the post. Updated August 17, 2010 to work under new www subdomain, and also to use css and class names that jive with the restyled buttons.

To use, fill out the posting form as usual and when you're ready, click Save. If you have assigned any unbundled tags to the bookmark, the Bundle On Post script will ask if you'd like to bundle them before saving.

If you choose to bundle, you'll see a bundling interface where you can assign bundles to your post's unbundled tags. As you type a bundle name, you can autocomplete it from the list of your existing bundles, or you can type a brand new bundle name into the box to create that bundle and save a tag to it. Use a tag's "more" link to get extra bundle input boxes for that tag -- that way you can assign the tag to more than one bundle.

When you're ready, click Bundle Tags & Save Bookmark to start saving your bundles. If you are bundling tags to pre-existing bundles, those bundles will be highlighted in yellow in the My Bundles list. Successfully updated bundles turn green as they get saved; failed bundles turn red. If all the bundles get successfully saved, the Bundle On Post script will then let the bookmark save happen as usual. If any of the bundles fail to get updated, you will be given a chance to correct the problems and try saving the failed bundles again.

Works with the following posting methods:
- full posting page on Delicious.com
- official bookmarklets
- Delicious Firefox add-on in Classic Mode
- del.icio.us buttons Firefox add-on

Sorry, this script does not work with Opera.
