angadi.org Comic Image Viewer PLUS Comic Add
Any image in an anchor on angadi.org will be rewritten (and displayed) as a IMG tag. Also adds the comics Diesel Sweeties, UserFriendly, and a fixed Calvin and Hobbes. By William Rawls and Alan Hogan
UPDATED! Jan 11 2006
Now Calvin and Hobbes works again (again), DieselSweeties works again, and there are links to archive (previous days)!
Shows all comics
This script shows all the pictures which were linked to from the new and un-improved page. (William Rawls, who wrote this part of the script, says "Basically I love reading the comics from his page, but apparently someone told him to stop showing the images. This script will convert the links to the comic images back into images.")
Adds a favicon
Need we say more?
Adds other comics and fixes Calvin and Hobbes
This user script adds three comics to http://angadi.org/comics.html. They are: Calvin & Hobbes (fixes its current broken status by adding it in a different manner at the bottom of the page), Diesel Sweeties (http://www.clango.org), and User Friendly.
Flexibility
It also works when you go to the previous day's comics, for example if you forgot them yesterday.
Styling
Uses CSS styles to change the page to a white-on-grey colorscheme to be easier on the eyes, and reduces distance between comics. You can comment this out in the source if you don't like it. Alternatively, you can edit the CSS styles in the source.
Checks for updates
This script loads a page off my server to check for more recent versions and will notify you if they are available. No private data is collected (check the code).
Remove comics?
For further modification, I suggest using Firefox's Adblock utility to _remove_ the comics you don't like. For me, that's most of them.
And you can add your own
The code in this userscript should be enough to get you started if you would like to add other comics to your angadi.org comics page.

Could you post the way you would add other comics to the script, there are a few of my favorites that I would like to add. Thanks, great script btw |

Thanks for the update! Works great, I'm loving it. :) Now if I miss a day, I can go back and catch up. Very nice. |

Joe - No idea what could be going wrong. Make sure the script is executing by right-clicking the monkey in the statusbar. You should see the name of this script. Dan - I too miss that feature, but at the moment do not plan on simulating that feature via JavaScript. Have you asked Raghu to re-implement that feature? |

Works great. Thanks. I have an idea for an improvement. Could you add a way to go to yesterday's page? Raghu's page used to let you do that, but that went away when the images were deleted. |
