This script adds "Play/Pause," "Previous Track," and "Next Track" items to the Dock Menu for Lala Fluid apps. These can be then controlled using Applescripts:

Then these Applescripts are easily bound to hotkeys using e.g. Spark http://www.shadowlab.org/Software/spark.php
