I have to use 1and1 for some stuff, and they suck.
But apart from that, they automatically log you out of their admin shizzle after about 8 seconds of inactivity, which sucks.
This script is pathetically trivial, it just reloads the page and throws it away every 30 seconds. The session is in the URL, so that's ok, and all the important stuff, like the phpmyadmin stuff is handled through POSTs so there's no risk of re-submitting forms and so on. Probably.
This is likely only useful to me, and if you fuck up your server because of it re-submitting "I wish to pay for this again and again", here's the disclaimer: I do not care, I told you not to do it.
