This is a simple script to implement Reftagger Bible Referencing technology on most any web page. Reftagger is a product made by Logos Bible Software that automatically goes through a website searching for Bible References. When it finds one it automatically adds a link to the Verse on "Bible.logos.com". It also makes it so that when you hover over that link a tooltip comes up with the text of the verse. However, Reftagger is designed to be implemented by webmasters on individual websites. This script makes it work on most any site. That means that it not only works on christian sites that haven't implemented Reftagger yet but it also works on sites like Facebook and Wikipedia that aren't primarily christian sites.
Note: By default this script runs The New King James Version. However, since reftagger supports many versions you can change this. The easiest way to do this is using find and replace. While editing the script find "NKJV" and replace it with the abbreviation for your translation.
Note: This script by default runs on every website so if you experience any performance hits you may want to change that so it only works on the websites you will use it on. Although I haven't seen any noticeable performance hits from running this script.
Note: While this script runs well on almost all websites it only tags some of the links on Facebook. If you are going to be using this on Facebook a lot then please see my jetpacks for different versions which work better than this greasemonkey script.
