New and Improved!

Adds a small set of links to the bottom of each picture allowing you to do many different things without having to go to the person's profile.

You can now change the look and order of the icons! On any page in MySpace, simply right-click on the monkey icon in the statusbar and select User Script Commands -> Edit Image Links, and a popup window will appear with options and a drag-and-drop icon editor. There are many different options to play with to change the look and feel of all your image links!

There are 6 different Icon Packs you can choose from, in 4 different sizes. Including the icons from the original script now updated to include all the new links! Also included are 2 alternative icon packs: Menu, and Text.

Notes

The full, stable version of this script has finally come! Before installing, you must remove or disable the old beta version, or else you run the risk of duplication or errors running both versions simultaneously. To disable old versions of this script, go to Tools -> Greasemonkey -> Manage User Scripts... select any other scripts named "MySpace - Add Image Links" and disable them before installing.

All future beta versions will be using an entirely new codebase in anticipation for the upcoming Greasemonkey v0.8 release. Yes, this means that all new beta versions will only work on Greasemonkey 0.8 pre-releases until the full version is released. [DISCONTINUED]

NOTICE:

The full version of MySpace - Add Image Links v2.5 has finally been released, and I thank you all for your input! This is the first stable release incorporating the new user interface, and the last one using this codebase that will support Greasemonkey versions prior to v0.8. This doesn't mean you should stop reporting bugs, however! If you should notice any issues involving this version, please message me a full description of the problem you are experiencing. New features on the other hand, unless serious, will have to wait until beta releases of version 3.

Version 3 will depend heavily on included sources and packaged content that is only possible with Greasemonkey version 0.8, which is not far from a full release. The new version will be utilizing standard 3rd party JavaScript libraries, such as MochiKit, and will be rebuilt from the ground up.

Updates

If you wish to stay up-to-date on new versions, this script among many others fully support User Script Updates.

UPDATE: (2/1/09)
Updated to fix the problem of shortcuts appearing vertically under some images, and a few other minor fixes. Also, I fixed a few Smart Links issues and disabled the Quick Link for the add friend shortcut (it stopped working a while ago anyway, and now there are many options on that page trivializing the Quick Link concept... If anyone comes up with a workaround, I may re-enable this feature).
[Special thanks goes to levymetal for this update]

UPDATE: (10/9/08)
Updated to fix a change MySpace made to the Friend Helper (on the View Friends page). Kind of a hack, but it works now... Also, fixed the CAPTCHA notification when adding to friends.

UPDATE: (8/4/08)
Updated to reflect a few MySpace changes: some bareword clues were changed which were affecting Smart Links. This version might have difficulty with error handling, as the error message I used to be catching now appears on all non-error pages too. But at least Smart Links are working again...

UPDATE: (4/30/08)
Finally got around to fixing the 2 most recent bugs: the add friend link should now work properly, and the image links on the View Friends page should no longer be blocked by the new MySpace Friend Helper. It appears that life has become more chaotic than anticipated, so version 3 may be delayed indefinitely until further notice.

UPDATE: (1/25/08)
Version 2.5 stable release! Many internal speedups, especially involving interoperability with 3rd party scripts. Changes to the way Events are handled, and added a new "clear" Event. Code has been cleaned up a great deal, and all known bugs have been resolved. Thanks for all your input!

UPDATE: (1/25/08)
(beta) Fixed a bug involving false positives using the Add to Friends quick link in the event it asks for a CAPTCHA code. Also a few internal optimizations, to make things run smoother.

UPDATE: (1/22/08)
(beta) Bugfix release, with fixes to the View Friends page, and to the event code for 3rd party support.

UPDATE: (1/15/08)
(beta) Added 2 new shortcuts: Invite to Blog, and View Bulletins. Also fixed up a few bugs involving Quick Links and removed Add to Addressbook / Remove from Addressbook (due to them not being functional for over a month). The latter feature is still being worked on, and may return in a future release.

UPDATE: (12/24/07)
(beta) A few graphical fixes on the front page and elsewhere. Also, fixed up the view friends page so it fits the links better.

UPDATE: (12/3/07)
(beta) Fixed the "Add to Friends" button. MySpace apparently changed the link, breaking ours. It is fixed now.

UPDATE: (11/28/07)
(beta) Stopped the script from loading links on the Friend Updates' edit page... This keeps the list of friends nice and compact and easy to use. A few other minor improvements included.

UPDATE: (11/12/07)
(beta) A few additions to the event code, you can read about this in the help doc. Also several changes to smart links, which should now function better when frequently switching between users. This script no longer has an @exclude list, so if you are upgrading be sure to remove any remaining from within Greasemonkey.

UPDATE: (11/7/07)
(beta) Added a feature into the "Default Image" option which changes the "User Shortcuts" menu on picture pages and many others to a Menu-themed version of the image links. Also made many improvements to the Menu theme, and closed up a few bugs. The help document now accurately reflects all recent changes.

UPDATE: (10/30/07)
(beta) Added fixes for pages to allow image links to appear in the "Who's Online" section all over the New Home Skin throughout MySpace. Also a few code cleanups and preparation for further enhancements.

UPDATE: (9/29/07)
(beta) This script is now compatible with the New Home Skin! Also made some fixes for the Default Image option so it now works properly on both the old skin and the new skin. Began some work on an Event system to make this script integrate better, starting with the Reload event. Script authors can read about it here.

UPDATE: (9/23/07)
(beta) Finally added support for MySpaceTV (videos), so you should now be able to view shortcuts on video comment pages!

UPDATE: (8/2/07)
(beta) Fixed the shortcuts so they can be displayed under "msplinks.com" links on profiles/comments.

UPDATE: (7/14/07)
(beta) Fixed the "Show shortcuts under the Default Image" option for the main page (MySpace changed the id of the image), and it no longer destroys the "mood" section on profile pages.
