Very simple ... I have a wide screen laptop and a wide screen desktop, and the left pane (where the folder, tags, chat, calendar, etc. are), is too narrow, and I wanted it to be a bit wider... that's what the script does ... and that's all it does.
It has been tested only in Firefox on Ubuntu GNU/Linux, it should work everywhere, but only god knows for sure ... any help is appreciated.
