Installation instructions

Follow these instructions to install it:

  • Right-click on the Install this Script button and select Save link as... to download the script file to a folder of your choice
  • Create a userscripts folder called "User Scripts" (without quotes) inside your user data folder, if it doesn't already exists
  • Move the script to your Chrome's userscripts folder
  • Right-click in the shortcuts you use to launch Chrome, select Properties and edit the "Target" field, adding " --enable-user-scripts" (without quotes) at the end of the existing value. Click Ok to save
  • Restart Chrome using any of those shortcuts

Differences with the Greasemonkey version

Due to the lack of the Greasemonkey API in Chrome, not all features of YousableTubeFix are available at the moment:

  • The configuration dialog isn't available. The script can be configured by editing the configuration variables in the script code (see the configuration guide)
  • The script can't check for updates. It doesn't show update notifications and it has to be updated manually
