This is not the first script of its kind, just my version. It's based first and foremost on the functionality that was present in the old Blank Canvas Ikariam Tools add-on for Firefox, but also a little on this script for the get current island ID function.
This script turns your resource icons into direct links to the mines. The wood icon goes to the current island's wood mine, while all the others go to the current island's trade good mine. The population icon goes to the current city's town hall.
