Proud to be the only UserScript that rips YouTube audio in real time!

This script adds 4 (or 5) download links underneath every video on YouTube. The first three are direct download links to retrieve the video in .FLV, .3GP, and .MP4 formats respectively. If the video in question is available in HD, another option will be displayed to download in HD MP4 format. The final part of the script rips the audio from the video, then converts into MP3 format in real time. This means that after a few seconds, another link will be displayed showing a direct download for the audio of the video.

Updates

30 October 2009:

Fixed a small problem with the audio conversion debugger, nothing noticeable. ;)

25 October 2009:

Under some cases on long videos an error I had not compensated for emerged during conversion. This has been fixed so you are not given a broken link when accessing the MP3 file. Also, I have slightly changed the text for the audio download link, under the suggestion of more than one user.

23rd October 2009:

On the 22nd October YouTube updated its JavaScript variables, causing the script to, well, break. As did every other YouTube script on this website. Anyway, the good news is that I have fixed the script, and it is working perfectly! I have also updated the box that encapsulates the download links, as some people have informed me that it was distracting. It is now in a slightly less promiscuous light grey bordered box. Thanks for the 2000+ downloads guys!

19th September 2009:

Just a minor update today, which aside from fixing up some metadata, I have reduced the minimum audio download conversion delay to 8 seconds from 10. Basically, you are going to get your audio faster if that particular video has already been converted.

16th September 2009:

Ok, firstly I have cleaned up the script to reduce useless repitition of code (ultimately leaving no chance for errors). The second thing is that I have re-written the audio extraction code, making it about 30% faster than the previous version! Finally, I have added a debugger to the audio conversion, as under some circumstances, the audio rip would fail. So now, you will recieve an error message!
