A helping hand for replying to the comments of others on bbc blog pages.
The script modifies the page to add a 'Respond!' link to the bottom of each comment.
When you wish to respond to a particular comment, instead of scrolling down to the comment box and copying and pasting the number and author of the comment you are responding to, simply click on the 'Respond!' link.
This will take you to the comment box, where you will find that not only has the number and author of the comment been inserted at the start of the comment - but also, it has been inserted as a hyperlink, allowing subsequent readers to jump back to the comment you are referring to.
As a bonus, if you select some text on the page prior to clicking 'Respond!', not only will the script add a link to the comment you are referring to, it will also add the selected text in quotes and italics.
