WordPress Category Resizer
Moves the category checkbox list from the right sidebar to underneath the edit post windows and makes it three columns wide instead of one column wide. Works with any version of WordPress or WordPress Multi-User (including WordPress.com)

What Does This Script Do?
The WordPress Category Resizer (wpcatr) is a GreaseMonkey script for Firefox and Wordpress.com.What it does
- moves the category bar from the right sidebar to underneath the post box when creating new posts or editting existing posts
- expands the categories to three evenly sized columns
- removes scrollbars (you can see all categories at once)
- adds a link to the Save button after category editting

- BUGFIX: newer versions of WordPress.com broke this script
- BUGFIX: will run on any WordPress install, not just WordPress.com
- BUGFIX: now works when you have less than three categories
- added automatic update check
- Tested with WordPress.com Jan/2007 and WordPress 2.3.2

Glad someone else is using it! I was wondering if it was going to be one of those things that only seem like a good idea to me.
If you have any suggestions while poking around in the code on how to improve it, let me know. This is my first time writing for greasemonkey.

Thanks. This is the most excellent user script I have. I'm gonna mod it a little and here's a tip for anyone who's interested:
My contributors and I do our posting via the "Deepest Sender" FF extension (or something similar), without categorizing. Then every week or so I go through and just categorize all the uncategorized posts. I'm planning to mod the script so that it places the categories at the top of the page... I don't care about the edit part, for the most part!
EXCELLENT work, engtech; I've been needing this for a while.
