This script removes Storage.to's session cookie, so the server thinks you haven't downloaded anything before, thus allowing you to proceed to the new download link, which the script also automatically retrieves and shows.

A nice side effect of this script is it allows you to download even with site JavaScript being blocked (via NoScript, for example). (Note that you would need site JavaScript to see the second-by-second countdown to the activation of the download link.)

Circumventing the hourly traffic limit is no longer possible short of changing the IP address as that, instead of session cookie, is now used by Storage.to to track clients.

Changelog:

  • 2009-07-19: Show countdown to the time (or just the time if "countdown" is off or site JavaScript is being blocked) at which the download link becomes active, as skipping the nuisance delay is no longer possible (at least for the time being) now Storage.to has changed its download ticket reservation mechanism
  • 2009-07-17: Adjust to new session cookies with explicit domain attribute
  • 2009-07-08: Now work even with site JavaScript being blocked
  • 2009-07-07: Initial release
