Script Summary: OBSOLETED! DEFUNCT! Retrieved and displayed votes on GC-Vote by user name in cache listings.
News:Since GC-Vote 2.0 does not support open accounts any more, this script is n o t working any longer.
Voting can be retrieved when viewing a cache listing on geocaching.com.
To retrieve voting, press Get GC-Vote button next to username. Depending on the server's response, one of the following four choices will be displayed (see screenshot):
- The user's "star" rating is displayed next to the user name.
- The user name shows lock symbols. This user has a locked account.
- A (0) next to the user name appears. This user has not voted (yet).
- A popup alert box will display the server's error message.
Note: Querying votes is only available for open GC-Vote accounts.

GC-Votes server limits vote retrieval to 3 requests per IP address.
Vote requests have to be initiated manually on a per user basis. If you receive an error message from GC-Vote server, you'll have to wait for about half an hour before you can continue to retrieve votes. Or change IP address to continue immediately.
