Script Summary: Hides the following things from the Facebook chat bar: "Applications" text, change language, bookmarked applications, "Bookmark this application", "Chat" text.
Hides the following things from the Facebook chat bar: "Applications" text, change language, bookmarked applications, "Bookmark this application", "Chat" text.
This script is useful if you use a resolution which has a low width because Facebook will show more chat tabs, which means less scrolling to find a chat tab.
Features:
- Hide the Applications text
- Hide the change language button
- Hide your bookmarked applications (bookmarked applications can still be accessed using the Facebook icon on the bottom-left corner)
- Hide the Bookmark this application link that appears when you are on an application (applications can still be bookmarked by pressing the Facebook icon on the bottom-left corner and then by dragging your application from the Recently used list into the Bookmarks list)
- Hide the Chat text (only the number of online friends is shown)
- Autosize the Chat block
These are only some simple CSS modifications, but like I said, this is useful if you are on a low resolution and you have many chat tabs open.
Screenshots:
As you can see, by hiding the above elements, the number of tabs that can be shown on my 1024x768 resolution grows from 2 tabs to 5 tabs, which is not bad...
You probably won't find this script useful if you have a widescreen monitor or close your chats when you don't need them.
