GMail Compactor with Custom Icons

By Eliot C Last update Jun 2, 2009 — Installed 818 times.

Script Summary: This maximizes the vertical real estate in GMail by collapsing the links on the left to an image box, and moving the search to left side (This is a modified version of Pavel Gutin's original Gmail Compactor).

If you'd like to use your own icons, upload your icon set (26px x 26px each) to a webhost and then change the dropbox links in the gFolders array.

Background: I decided to modify Pavel's script for personal preferences. I use a netbook and therefore wanted the most minimal layout possible. I also wanted to change the icons since I preferred a more recognizable "compose" icon (however, I ended up redoing or resizing the whole set).

If you'd like to see something new in the script, I'll see what I can do, though Pavel's original script is probably still going to be updated in the future.
