This script is now obselete and no longer works with the current version of SU.

The visitor icon script now has optional dynamic updates. If you have dynamic updates enabled and your visitor page open, any new visitors will be added to the top of your visitor list. Any changes to friend/subscriber status are also dynamically updated.

Additional visitor count displays the number of visitors added to your visitor list since you opened the page.

Dynamic update switch allows you to enable or disable the dynamic update functionality. Visitor icons will still be enabled.

Clicking the manual update link forces the script to update its knowledge of your friends, subscribers and subscriptions. This should happen automatically, but if you notice icons missing from visitors, clicking this link should (in theory) resolve them. You may need to allow up to a minute for this to complete if you have 1000s of subscribers and/or a slow connection (the script downloads around 1MB of data per 1,250 subscribers, each update).

The status reports section gives you information on what the script is trying to do, and in particular, helps me troubleshoot it when it fails for someone. The manual update/status report sections have been moved to the top of the visitor list, since added visitors shove them off the bottom of the page.

= Subscriber
= Subscription
= Mutual subscriber
= Friend only
= Subscriber / Friend
= Subscription / Friend
= Mutual subscriber / Friend

Note: for friends/subscriptions or other stumblers' pages to work as expected, the script must have an up-to-date list of friends/subscriptions. This list is only updated on your visitor page.

If icons are missing, try clicking the "Update friends / subscribers" link.
