Script Summary: Replaces image placeholders with the original image in-line. It also attempts to re-link images to an adjacent link tag.
You can enable image placeholders on LiveJournal at the Viewing Options page. This script will in turn enable those placeholders to be dynamically replaced inline. Just click the placeholder and instead of browsing to the image it will show it immediately. The placeholder can still be ctrl+click or middle-click to load in new tab instead.
Updated 2008-12-13: Fixed re-link code to skip other placeholders (bug occurred when two placeholders were adjacent of each other). May be mitigated by now removing (instead of hiding) replaced placeholders anyway.
