Version 0.23 - Corrected typo in GreaseMonkey user script commands that resulted in the set delay limits commands not showing the current values. Thanks again pinnedunderjeep!
Version 0.22 - Fixes a scenario where you could only help a mafia member in one city or the other but not both. Big thanks to pinnedunderjeep for pointing that out and providing a solution! -- Also, added the ability to modify the high an low refresh threshold variables via GreaseMonkey user script commands. No need to edit the script just to change the refresh rate anymore! Since the list format of helped mobsters has been changed, the script will clear the list on its first pass.
Version 0.21 - Updated to tone down logged info. I forgot and left a bunch of debug logging active :|
Version 0.21 - Changes to accommodate new city indicator requirement. Thanks to Scrotal for pointing me to the correct URL...
Version 0.20 - Worked around recent changes. Also removed processing of sendKey as it not necessary now that multiple requests are no longer possible.
Version 0.19 - Reduced the length of time that request history is maintained since it is extremely unlikely that a request from the same user with the same sendkey value would exist on the newsfeed for very long. This may help users that are experiencing browser crashes or script hangs. Also, if you run the on the following filtered newsfeed, parsing overhead will be reduced: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?filter=app_109...
Version 0.18 - Uses facebook ID and URL sendkey as a unique help request identifier. The script tracks this identifier for 24 hours and then purges it. This will prevent unnecessary help attempts while still helping mobsters that are taking advantage of the multiple help request bug. I also added a GreaseMonkey User Script Command that allows you to clear the recently helped history as a troubleshooting step.
Version 0.17 - Extracts "sendkey" as well as user ID and reconstructs the URL exactly as it is in the newsfeed. This should take care of whatever sneakiness Zynga has planned :)
Version 0.16 - fixes parse error caused after Zynga changed the link syntax. Also, remembering helped mafia is disabled to take advantage of a bug that allows users to request help more often.
Scrapes the Facebook news feed for Mafia Wars help requests and simulates clicking the help link. The script now refreshes at random intervals ranging from 5 to 45 seconds.
Now remembers the requests attempted in the last 24 hours so that the links are not clicked needlessly (Thanks David!).
