This script takes the BBC data from their web pages and reformats it before your very eyes.
AND ALSO adds a facility to mark programmes of interest.
AND ALSO provides buttons to switch to other stations.

At the end of March 2009 the BBC launched a redesigned web site for Radio 4. And it is bloody awful.

  • The top half of the screen is wasted on header info.
  • A huge column is wasted on a calendar and vertical white space
  • You have to scroll miles down because (a) hugh amounts of white space are included in each entry (b) every bit of information is stacked vertically instead of horizontally
  • The subtitles merge with the titles... ... and are often just today's date in big letters
