Script Summary: Highlights, using colours, how long since the last update. UPDATED FOR NEW SITE LAYOUT.
Version: 1.3.2
Original idea from 'Fanfiction Update Status' by Shanoah Alkire, now all my own code.
I liked the idea, but the script was broken due to an update, so I made my own version.
While I did get the Favorite Stories section working, it will revert back to normal if you use any of the sorting functions - while I assume that there must be a way of editing the site's Javascript directly, I don't know how to do it.
v1.3.2
Finally got it working everywhere on the site!
Used Firebug to see what the site was doing, and figured out what needed to be done. A quick Google search later, and voila.
v1.3.1
Private release
Added extra formatting options
v1.3
Script now works all over the site, in all story listings, except user favourites
Highlights how long since the story was published if there is only one chapter
Moves the Complete status to the right in story listings
Better Regex use
Other bugs fixed.
v1.2.4
The coding is now more flexible, to allow for future site changes with ease
Added the ability to easily change certain options (edit the source code to change):
- How much of the date to colour in
- Enable/Disable word count feature
- Set date format to UK / US
- Set the date format separator
- Which way around the two dates appear.
Added comments in the code
Fixed more bugs.
v1.2.3
Fixed the script to work with the brand new FF.Net layout
Swapped around the Published and Updated fields to how it used to be before
More efficient coding
Fixed several other bugs I'd missed before.
v1.2.2.1
Fixed an embarrassingly obvious bug... *cough*
v1.2.2
Dates are set to UK times
Fixed some minor bugs
Formatted the last updated string to be much better than it was
Highlights the 'Complete' value in green rather than the last updated date if the story is complete.
v1.2.1
Added support for the 'Fanfiction.net Enhancer' script by Alssn
v1.2
Added a simple word count for the current chapter.
v1.1
Added highlight colours.
v1.0
Initial release.
