Script Summary: Enhance Google Reader to include auto view next, auto view previous, auto scan next, auto scan previous, auto unstar, and open in new tab, among others.

Grease Reader enhances Google Reader to add hotkeys for automatic forward and backward scrolling, automatic forward and backward scanning, automatic unstar, view in new tab, and for controlling scroll speed.

In addition to these hotkeys, the script shrinks all images in the current item greater than 250 pixels in width to 250 pixels, then floats images to the right of the item text.

To enable or disable automatic forward scrolling, press 'J'. (This is intended to be similar to the Google Reader 'j' hotkey, which scrolls forward one item.)

To enable or disable automatic backward scrolling, press 'K'. (This is intended to be similar to the Google Reader 'k' hotkey, which scrolls backward one item.)

To enable or disable automatic forward scanning, press 'b'. (This is intended to be similar to the Google Reader 'n' hotkey, which scans forward one item.)

To enable or disable automatic backward scanning, press 'o'. (This is intended to be similar to the Google Reader 'p' hotkey, which scans backward one item.)

To enable or disable automatic unstarring, press 'S'. (This is intended to be similar to the Google Reader 's' hotkey, which stars the current item, and to the Google reader 'g s' combination, which switches to starred items.)

To open the original item in a new tab, press 'V'. (This is intended to be similar to the Google Reader 'v' hotkey, which opens the original item in a new window.)

To scroll faster, press '+'.

To scroll slower, press '-'.

To scroll to the end, press 'e'.

To show help, press '?'.
