I only wanted the highlighting features and not the theme so I just cut out that part. I couldn't find any other scripts that highlighted new or read mail so I did this.

If you want to change the colors use a firefox extension like Colorzilla and pick a color you want and copy and change the Hex numbers (ex.#FFFF99) in the script.
