Script Summary:
Automatically follows story link on reddit stories |
This script has no discussions. |
This script has no reviews. |
TL;DR:
Automatically follows the story link on reddit stories.
Description:
When you open a reddit article, this script forwards you to the article link. You may hit "Back" in your browser to return to the comments page.
Bugs:
Script only remembers your most recently opened article. Things get wonky if you open an article, then open another in a new window/tab, then hit the "Back" button on the first one you opened. So don't do that. Or write a better script because I suck at it.
Technical info:
I completely rewrote this: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/38684
It didn't do what I wanted because:
1. It didn't work at all.
2. I wanted to be able to hit Back to return to the comments, BUT I wanted the script to work even if the reddit story was not opened in a new window/tab.
This script does both of these things.
