Description

Some image hosting services wrap their images in useless HTML code that leads to non-functional zooming in Firefox.
For example, click the second image in this hilarious blogspot post.

Usually, what you do is right-click -> show image to free the pic from its "prison". The Big Picture spares you this by removing the superfluous HTML without modifying your browser history.

Usage instructions

  • Important: It is not recommended to activate this script everywhere. You have to manually enter the desired URLs such as *.bp.blogspot.com etc.
  • Within the script, edit the MINWIDTH, MINHEIGHT and MINSIZE parameters to determine which images should trigger the script. Action will only be taken if there is exactly one image wider than MINWIDTH, higher than MINHEIGHT and larger than MINSIZE.
  • Click in the free space next to the image to restore the original HTML site.
