When you are on Subscriptions page you may want to keep the Subscription tab opened and the video to be opened in new tab. At this moment if you click the scroll button you will see the same subscription page.

If you will install this script click the scroll wheel (mouse button 3) while hovering a video image and that particular video will open in a new tab.

In my case I have scroll mouse button functionality to open in new tab as a default, if you have another shortcut you can use it and it will still work, only by clicking the image though, I've kept the same youtube functionality for the text link.
